Investing is like a game of golf.
Investing like golf is a game of skill and luck (labor under correct knowledge). The best plan outline can sometimes get stuck when the wind and weather conditions changes and that's why there is always a plan B. The essence of the game is to always monitor the ball position after every stroke and with proper knowledge of the basics of the game, the golfer adjusts the next shot as he plays towards the hole. Golf requires us to monitor our game, record our scores for every hole in a score-card and total up the final scores after completing the game. Some holes will be pared, some will be birdied and some will be bogeyed. That’s how the game goes. Just like investing. |
