Computer System Check.

Signal Invest is designed to support any computer with internet and web access. Many special features in this system requires more than just a basic browser. For the best possible experience, we recommend that you run the checks on this page and prepare your computer to meet these requirements.

	Valid Email Address A valid e-mail address is required in order for you to sign up for Signal Invest. It is used for both authentication as well as other support functions eg. email alerts. E-mail addresses with ISPs such as Jaring, TMnet, or Maxis.net are recognised by Signal Invest. If you don't have an e-mail address, you can get one for free at Hotmail or Yahoo.
	Updated Browser Having HTML4.0, CSS and PNG support in your browser will greatly enhance your experience on this site. Just make sure you use a recent web browser such as Netscape 7 or Internet Explorer 6. To check your browser version: Click on Help > About You can also download the latest Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer for FREE!
	PDF Reader The print-formatted pages on this system generates personalized PDF files. You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader to view such files. To check if you can read PDF files: Click on this sample pdf file and see if you can view it. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for FREE!
	Javascript Support Almost all browsers have javascript "supported" and "enabled" by default. If you have disabled it for some reason, follow the instructions below to re-enable it. For Internet Explorer 5: Step 1: In the file menu, click on Tools > Internet Options. Step 2: Click on the "Security" tab Step 3: Click Internet > Custom Level. Step 4: Scroll the settings list until find "Active Scripting" and make sure to "Enable" it. For Netscape 6: Step 1: In the file menu, click on Edit > Preferences. Step 2: Click on the "Advanced" tab on the left and make sure to check "Enable Javascript for Navigator".
	High Screen Resolution While this is not a real requirement, experience shows that for a more comfortable viewing area, you should have a screen resolution of 1024x768 or more. If you have a 15 inch or larger monitor, follow these instructions to set your monitor to a 1024x768 resolution: On Windows 95 or later: Step 1: Click on START > Settings > Control Panel Step 2: Double click on "Display". Step 3: Go to the "Settings" tab Step 4: Adjust the slider under "Screen area" so that it says 1024 by 768 pixels. Step 5: Give a pat on your back and say well done! On other systems, such as Apple or Linux computers, please consult your manual on how to change screen resolution.

If your computer meets all the requirements, you may proceed to log in to your workspace or apply for a trial if you're a new user.
In any case, you should still be able to use Signal Invest even if you're computer does not meet all the requirements -- just try to upgrade your system, at your convenience, according to the instructions above.
